Greetings Brethren, Companions and All of Tarrant County and the 64th Masonic District. A quick bit of site news. Apparently, the last calender plugin update silently failed on the database side and a few events were lost from the previous month. After working with support staff, the site core has been updated and the calendar updated again and verified working this time. There is an incompatibility with the calendar extended views plugin that the developers are working on, so that is disabled for now (though I suspect not many people actually use the posterboard view). I’ve re-added upcoming events so those are back on the calendar correctly. I apologize that some events did not show up in a timely manner. Hopefully this is now resolved.
Removed the Guestbook feature for now. There were far too many spam posts to it. I will look to see if there is one out there with better anti-spam features.
Good news everyone! The Degree Submission Form has been beefed up and improved. You can now submit Degree/Order events for Blue Lodge, Chapter, Council, and Commandery. Just pick the appropriate body, pick which Lodge/Chapter/Council/Commandery, pick the appropriate degrees (now allows for multiple selection if you are doing multiple degrees at a time) and submit as before.
Please make use of this feature to keep us all informed about your Good and Square Work!
Please take note, the schedule for the Fort Worth Stock Show Booth has been corrected! The original schedule was incorrect. We are sorry for the confusion this has caused. Click here for the Stock Show Booth Schedule.
As always, do not hesitate to contact us if you find any errors with the site or its information.
Calendar updated with dates for 2015 Scottish Rite Spring Reunion and Robert Burns dinner.
Added calender entries for Tarrant York Rite Association, Trinity York Rite College, and local York Rite Conference events.
Howdy all in the 64th district. As a reminder, the Fort Worth Assembly No. 15, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, are available to assist your organizations by helping to serve and clean up at your Installation Ceremonies and other import events. They also present wonderful short programs about Rainbow for your meetings and other gatherings. These young women are very impressive in all the tasks they undertake and perform beautifully. They are the future of our Organizations. The main means of fundraising for these young women are donations for such things as serving at Installations and other events, presenting programs and generous donations by individuals, Eastern Star Chapters, Masonic Lodges, and other Fraternal Organizations. We request that you keep these girls in mind when planning programs and Installations. You can contact the Mother Advisor, Mrs. Darla Hardy, at 817-501-5478 for further information. The Assembly meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at 7:30 P.M., 1100 Henderson St., Fort Worth.
Making some really good progress on the site. Only a couple pages and features are left to be implemented. Nearly all the calendar entries have been ported over. Only lacking Chapter, Council, Commandery, and OES stated meetings and then everything will be there!
Howdy all in Tarrant County and beyond. I am currently still building out a major overhaul of the old 64th.org site. I’ve added lots of features and will continue to add more as time goes on. The site still needs some of the content filled out, particularly in the calendar area, but we’ll get there. Take a look around and see what y’all think. If you find what you believe to be a bug in the site, please use the “Contact” link in the footer to send me a message so that I may correct it. Enjoy!
