STOCK SHOW BOOTH INSTRUCTIONS

Here are some rules and guidelines to be followed when manning the Fort Worth Stock Show Booth. By following this instructions, we will have a professional and uniform presence to the public and, thus, put our best foot forward for all to see. We are proud to be Freemasons and taking pride in our booth should reflect that!

  1. Go by the Temple on the day of your assignment to pick up your badges and parking passes. The lock box is 4-digit code locked. Contact Cody Cox @ (817) 343-1652 for the code.
  2. The booth must be manned while the doors to the exhibition hall are open (Sunday – Friday =  10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. / Saturday = 9:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.) for the day. Make sure you sign our log for that day.
  3. There should be no more than 3 people manning the booth at any given time; however, there should always be at least 1 person manning the booth at all times.
  4. No eating or drinking in the booth during exhibition times.
  5. Dress appropriately as if you are expecting a visit from a Grand Lodge Officer. Western wear is encouraged if it is on the dressy side. Jackets and ties would be appreciated.
  6. Keep the booth area clean and neat at all times.
  7. Put your best foot forward. Be pleasant and helpful. Do not get confrontational with anyone.
  8. If a person expresses interest, have them fill out a 3×5 card with their best contact information. Place the completed card in the lockbox.
  9. Other than the information for Blue Lodges, only one piece of literature may be displayed for appendant bodies (Scottish Rite, York Rite, Shrine, etc.). The major focus should remain on the Blue Lodges.
  10. Enjoy the company of your fellow Masons and the folks who may visit the booth.
